These include game-changing infrastructure, a supportive business and investor community, local government committed to innovation, talent attraction and retain and education pathways. This, coupled with the region’s enviable lifestyle, is seeing the Sunshine Coast emerge as a future tech hub and offers myriad opportunities for the tech industry as well as tech-users and supporters.

The SCIBN, including the Maroochydore City Centre’s digital assets, provides an opportunity for research organisations, government and business to accelerate the development of new technology software, hardware equipment and devices.

Council has ‘opened its doors’ to enable companies to test and trial technology developments in a real world environment*.

About Testing Tech in Paradise

Council is now running a new campaign called Testing Tech in Paradise which is an opportunity for companies to come to the Sunshine Coast and test and trail new tech in the real world.
