After a major redevelopment in 2019, Sunshine Plaza has become the largest shopping centre on the Sunshine Coast. The centre now boasts over 420 specialty stores, including department stores like David Jones, Myer, H&M and MECCA.

The Riverwalk and promenade areas feature a diverse range of restaurants with extended trading hours, a 12-screen Birch Carroll and Coyle Cinema, Timezone and paddle boats for family-friendly fun.
