- A tech-savvy region and a smart place for business
As a global Top 7 Intelligent Community and award-winning Smart City, the Sunshine Coast is a tech-savvy region with a reputation for innovation.
A magnet for big thinkers, the Sunshine Coast has a wide range of knowledge-based businesses which are well supported by a strong entrepreneurial, collaborative and increasingly digitally oriented business community.
Investment drivers include access to new generation commercial premises spinning out of the new Maroochydore City Centre, a new international airport runway. In total there is $12.5 billion in infrastructure investment underway to support the region’s commercial, industrial, retail and residential growth.
The city centre is also the location of a high-tech landing station precinct, built to activate the region’s new international broadband submarine cable.
ENTAG is one of the innovative businesses that is growing and succeeding on the Sunshine Coast.
With a team of more than 170 staff, ENTAG manages a retail network of Telstra shops and business technology centres.

Digital health diversification
One of ENTAG’s key areas of diversification has been in technology solutions for digital health.
ENTAG has created technology platforms for acute in-home care provider Hospital In Your Home and for the Sydney-based RPA (Royal Prince Alfred Hospital) Virtual Hospital.
RPA Virtual Hospital delivers real-time remote monitoring and virtual health care of patients. The care team is located in a purpose built 24/7 Virtual Care Centre equipped with ‘Care Pods’ that include videoconferencing technology and the ability to remotely monitor patients with wearables.
In the lead up to launch, the ENTAG Digital Heath team was boots-on-the-ground at RPA Virtual Hospital, working to implement the end-to-end virtual health platform, train staff and provide ongoing support.
ENTAG is growing its vision to be Australia’s leading ICT organisation by leveraging its partnerships with Telstra, Apple and Microsoft to provide world best solutions across the country.
ENTAG CEO Kris Carver believes industries can learn from each other when they come together to connect and collaborate. Kris also believes the Sunshine Coast is the ideal place for people to expand their IT careers and look after customers of all shapes and sizes.
