It is 100 kilometres from Brisbane city centre, with easy access supported by the Bruce Highway. The Aerodrome is on the doorstep of the Direct Sunshine Coast Rail Line’s Caloundra Station, which will provide direct rail access to Brisbane by 2032.
Less than 30 kilometres to the north, Sunshine Coast Airport provides regular airline services to key Australian capital cities including Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide and a year-round service to Auckland, with direct onward links to Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
