Palmview is situated in close proximity to the University of the Sunshine Coast, with easy access to the Bruce Highway and just 12km from Mooloolaba. When it’s completed Palmview will support about 16,000 people in 7,000 houses. The project is expected to be complete around 2036.

Palmview will include a town centre, traditional main street layout, a three hectare park, civic plazas, a transit station, community facilities, a Local Employment Area Precinct and two schools.

Over 40,000m2 gross floor area of business, commercial and retail opportunities will be available in the town centre and two local retail centres.

Palmview is a A$4 billion master-planned community to be completed over the next 20 years and consists of three key development areas. Harmony is the first development area which started construction in 2017.

The first major road link into the master planned development opened on 26 June 2017. This 2km road link forms part of an overall investment of A$165 million in major road infrastructure that will be delivered by the major landholders.

Palmview will include a centrally located District Activity Centre of 15,000 square metres with a traditional main street layout, a 3ha town park, civic plazas, a transit station, a district community facility, two Local Activity Centres of 3500 square metres each, a 20,000 square metre Local Employment Area Precinct, and a private and public school. In addition around A$100 million will be spent creating parks and sports fields.

The project delivery is expected to generate 9000 jobs.
